Travelling to School during Adverse Weather
 
Please find below the telephone number to phone if you are unsure of school closure due to adverse weather conditions.
 
•           Dial Highland Council’s access number – 0800 564 2272
•           Now enter your own school’s pin number – 04 2260
•           You will now hear the school’s name.  Ensure this is correct before continuing.
•           You will now be taken to the MAIN MENU where you will be given 4 options
•           Press 1 to hear your school’s message about the adverse weather.
 
School closures will also be announced on Nevis Radio (96.6 – 97FM).
 
Alternatively, you may wish to check the website www.highland.gov.uk/schoolclosures which will be updated with information for individual schools.
